Open Hours and the Safety for our Clients

Mulberry & Thyme has some new rules and regulations, as we have had to make many changes due to the current situation; and the government’s intervention.

These changes have been input, by the government, to ensure a salon is a safe place for everyone; and we hope to be opening on the 4th July(barring no changes).

Due to our overwhelming waiting list, we, as a team, will be expanding our opening hours but will reduce our current services to more express services, primarily, through the month of July, so that everyone can be seen as soon as possible.

We will be spreading the appointment times; one guest to one stylist (Stylists will be completing the full service with no interruptions/other guests in between).

Due to the change in services, we will not be completing the following:

Colour changes/ larger colour services

  • Re-styles
  • Rituals
  • Hand rituals
  • Gents shaves
  • Nail services.

This will reduce the number of people entering the salon at any one time and give us the opportunity to thoroughly clean each section after every service.

Each guest will be expected to wear a face mask and gloves. (Face masks are available at a small cost, £2 each) We will provide you with hand sanitizer, should you not have any protective gloves.

To reduce the risk of spread of the infection; we will not be providing magazines. We will, also, be unable to provide refreshments in our normal china and glass vessels, but we will supply disposable card and/or plastic ones so that you can still enjoy your favourite tipple.

I, MD (Carly), will contact you very soon, to discuss the best express service for you. I will make sure that you get the desired outcome you are looking for. This will also give you an opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions you may have.

We stress that you arrive at the salon as near to your appointment time as possible, as we are not allowed to have guests waiting in the salon, so please be considerate to others unless accompanying a child.

Anyone who is portraying any symptoms whatsoever should self-isolate and contact the salon immediately to re-schedule their appointment.

Lastly, due to the overwhelming waiting list, Mulberry and Thyme will be taking a £20.00 non-refundable deposit before any service can be confirmed. This will secure your appointment and the money applied to your account and deducted from your bill. This is to allow everyone to get the time and space they need.

We are sorry to announce that due to added pressures and requirements placed upon us, by the powers that be, we have had no other choice but to increase our prices slightly, this is not a profit-making exercise on our behalf, but to cover costs, of new services, that we are impelled to provide.

We understand that these changes are not ideal, and we are trying to make this a much easier process for all, however, we want to keep giving our guests the service they deserve whilst keeping everyone safe at the same time.

I thank you for your understanding and appreciate your loyal support.

Many thanks.

Kindest Regards,

Carly
